Christantus Uche Ignites Comfortable Palace Victory at Shelbourne.
Even though entering their first-ever European adventure, Crystal Palace are adapting very quickly. Missing key players like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a commanding win that virtually guarantees them a place in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.
A further victory in their next fixture against Finland's KuPS should be enough to secure straight passage to the last 16, particularly following a previous setback against Strasbourg.

This occasion offered a platform for several Palace's lesser-used players to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second beginning since joining on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a clinical goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah contributed a second, finding the net for the second game in match.

The contest was effectively over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino meandered past some weak challenges before calmly slotting a shot past keeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
Following the break, manager Oliver Glasner took the chance to withdraw key players like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse came close to scoring his first touch, but saw his shot blocked.
Esse was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one shot crash off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche then missed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still scope for improvement in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a second-half knock to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This paved the way for 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to make his first-team debut, rounding off an otherwise perfect night for the visiting side.
