In a unexpected crossover event that challenges conventional predictions, the game developer has revealed an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of banned ceremonies and terrifying changes reverberate through the shadows." The storyline presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret cult.

The adventure concentrates on "bizarre tests and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Changes

The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Bonus Material

Players who finish the mission will receive an exclusive katana in addition to several items concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
